EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY
Hey Little would like you to feel confident in making your online purchase. If your selection is not the right colour, size, or what you expected, you can request a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order.
How to start a return or exchange
The easiest way to return an item is through your Hey Little customer account:
- Log in to your account at heylittle.com.au/account
- Find the order you'd like to return
- Select the item(s) and follow the prompts to submit your return request

Return conditions
Items must be returned in original condition — unused, unworn, and with original tags attached. Sale items are excluded from our standard returns policy.
The cost of return shipping is at the customer's expense and is non-refundable, except in cases where we have made an error. We recommend using a tracked service, as items not received by Hey Little cannot be credited.
Returns are processed within 5 business days of receipt. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Should the item you wish to exchange not be available, a store credit voucher will be issued. Hey Little store credit vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of exchange.
Items that cannot be returned
- Swimwear and underwear
- Personal care items (e.g. face masks or lotions)
- Sale items
- Gift cards
International returns
If you are returning an item from outside Australia, please contact us at info@heylittle.com.au before sending anything back so we can provide the correct return instructions. Please note that any customs fees or duties incurred on returned parcels are the customer's responsibility.

Out of stock items
Should an item be out of stock, we will advise you immediately and you will have the opportunity to cancel your order or we can help with an alternative product.
Faulty goods
We make every effort to ensure all items shipped to you are in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, please email a photo of the fault to info@heylittle.com.au before returning so we can assess it quickly. We will happily organise a replacement or a full refund where a replacement cannot be provided. You can also initiate a return through your customer account.
EU CUSTOMERS — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), without giving any reason.
Withdrawal period: You have 30 days from the day you receive the goods to withdraw from your order. This exceeds the 14-day legal minimum.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal: Log in to your customer account at heylittle.com.au/account, find your order, and submit a return request. You may also notify us by email at info@heylittle.com.au, or use the model withdrawal form below.
Cancellation before dispatch: You may cancel your order free of charge at any time before it is dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@heylittle.com.au.
Effects of withdrawal: If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery to you (but not any additional costs if you chose an express or premium delivery option). Reimbursement will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return, whichever is earlier. We will use the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Return shipping: You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Condition of returned goods: You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions — goods exempt from the right of withdrawal:
- Sealed goods not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery (e.g. swimwear, underwear, personal care items)
- Custom-made or personalised items
- Gift cards
Please note: Unlike our standard returns policy, sale items are not excluded from the EU right of withdrawal.
